CHANGES TO NEWMARKET AND BURY ST EDMUNDS HEARING AID CLINICS MARCH 2023 Newmarket - The Hearing Aid Clinic at Newmarket on 28th March has been cancelled. All patients with booked appointments have been offered alternative times. Please note that drop-in for batteries and tubing are not available on that date. Bury St Edmunds - BSE clinic will now finish at 2.30, instead of 3.00.

NHS Hearing Aid wearers can pick up batteries at Stevenage Indoor Market Wednesdays - Fridays 9.30am until 3pm, and Saturdays 9.30am until 12.30pm.

Volunteer's lunch
After what seems like such a long time apart we finally got to see some of our volunteers earlier this month. A small lunch was held in Welwyn village for Hertfordshire volunteers. It was lovely to catch up with everyone for the first time since the pandemic. With clinics up and running again we hope to see more of you!

Signed performances of Aladdin
Hemel Hempstead Theatre are putting on signed performances of this year's pantomine, Aladdin. Oh Yes They Are!!! The 7.30pm performance on Friday 9th December and 5.30pm on Sunday 11th December will both be BSL interpreted. Click here to take you to their bookings page
New 999 BSL app
New BSL999 app 999 BSL is a new Emergency Video Relay Service (VRS) service for deaf BSL users to contact the emergency services through a BSL interpreter. The service launched on 17th June 2022 and is available to download as a smartphone app (iOS and Android) and access as a web-based platform. Click here to see the demonstation video

Sadly our buses have broken down and are beyond repair. We have been working hard to either return to our old venues, or find new ones. Keep an eye on the 'Hearing Aid Services' on the website for the most up to date clinic lists.

The exciting news is that Suffolk Clinics are now based indoors (except Haverhill, Tesco Car Park, Cangle Road - 4th Wednesday of each month 10.00-12.00). Please check out our new timetable available on this site. I would like to express many thanks to the wonderful Managers and staff at many sites across Suffolk who generously allowed us the use of their car parks when we were providing services in our mobile unit.
