COVID-19 UPDATE

We are working hard to ensure that we are still providing a good service but please be patient with us.

Hertfordshire

If you require batteries, we can post your hearing aid batteries to you.

Enclose Brown Book and a note stating clearly the size or colour of battery you need. We will not be able to supply batteries without your brown book. We can only supply two strips of batteries.
PLUS
A stamp-addressed envelope. This will need to be a standard sized envelope to fit book and batteries with postage will need to be either 1 x large or 2 x normal 1st or 2nd class stamps.

Please do not send back used batteries.

We will normally post back the same day we receive the request.

SUSPENSION OF SERVICES

I regret to inform you that due to the current and developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the Charity will be suspending our scheduled services in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Suffolk and Northamptonshire Hearing Advisory Services in their current forms.

The operation of our hearing aid clinics, lip-reading classes and clubs, all involve close contact, and groups of people waiting. In making this decision, I have to consider the health and safety of my staff, volunteers and vulnerable clients.

Our offices at Woodside Centre, Welwyn Garden City, and Suffolk House, Ipswich, will be closed to the public.

This is an extraordinary situation for the Charity, and all within the communities we serve.

We will continue to keep the situation under review and hope to reintroduce services at some point which will be notified on this website.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Chief Executive Officer. Issue date: 10 March 2020
