This page has information on any changes to the services provided by the Hearing Advisory Service in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Suffolk and West Essex, including changes due to bad weather, staff sickness and venue refurbishment.
Our services do not run on public bank holidays, such as Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Bank Holiday and August Bank Holiday.
There will be no clinic at Saxmundham Surgery, Lambsdale Meadow, Saxmundham on Thursday 7th September due to the premises being unavailable on this date.
There will be no clinic at Central Library, Sudbury on Thursday 17th August due to remedial building work at the venue. Normal service will resume in September. Your nearest clinic is 28 Northgate Street, Bury St Edmonds, IP33 1HY.
From July 2017 there will no longer be a Hearing Aid Clinic provided at Chantry. For more information click here.

NHS Hearing Aids Repairs and Batteries are now available from Hearing Advisory Service, Suffolk House, 2 Wharfedale Road (use Dales Road entrance), Ipswich, IP1 4JP. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays between 9.30 and 1.00 and 1.30 to 3.30. Any enquiries call 01473 286060.
Due to maintenance works being carried out on site at Woodside Centre, Welwyn Garden City, the office will be shut on 9th and 11th August 2017. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Hertford Hospital run a drop in clinic (not appointment needed) every Thursday between 9am and 12.00.
On the fourth Thursday of each Month HHAS is running a drop in clinic at Woodside Centre, The Commons, Welwyn Garden City between 10am and 2pm no appointment needed, this is for FREE basic NHS hearing aid maintenance; battery exchange; advice; information and practical support. We do not provide hearing tests or reprogram NHS hearing aids.
