This free service provides NHS hearing aid maintenance and batteries together with advice, information and practical support covering all aspects of deafness. We can also demonstrate assistive equipment for use at home and at work.
Although our offices are currently closed to the general public the Hertfordshire office is staffed Tuesday and Thursday mornings in order to maintain a postal service.
If you are shielding and need hearing aid batteries please call 01707 324582 on Tuesday or Thursday mornings.
If you are not shielding and require batteries please send your request with your brown book and either two standard stamps or one large letter stamp to:
HERTFORDSHIRE HEARING ADVISORY SERVICE,
PO BOX 594,
WELWYN GARDEN CITY,
If your hearing aid needs a minor repair please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01707 324582 to access our postal service.
Our mobile technician runs a number of Hearing Aid Clinics and you don't have to be a patient at a particular venue to access the service we offer there. The clinics are a drop in service - no appointment is necessary.
For more information on the service, please contact the Hearing Advisory Service on 01707324582. This service runs with the support of Northampton Audiology Department and Milton Keynes Audiology Department.
