How you can help
According to recent research, nearly two out of three Britons with hearing loss feel socially isolated. HHAS works to tackle the isolation of hearing loss by providing support, advice and information.
We rely on the support of the general public to continue helping people with hearing loss in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
There are various ways you can help us:
- Make a donation - every penny donated will allow us continue helping people with hearing loss in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
- Fundraise for us - fundraise in your local community or take part in a challenge or event to raise money for us.
- Volunteer - you can really help change lives. As one volunteer Veronica Broadie puts it: "Sometimes, the people I visit can't hear a thing and they'll tell me how miserable they feel. They can't carry on a normal life if they can't hear. When I fix the problem, their face will light up as they say 'I can hear again!'. Just a few minutes with someone can revolutionise their lives!"
- Become a corporate partner- can you company help HHAS by encouraging your staff to volunteer, fundraise or donate to the charity? We also have many sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
